What may be Florida’s favorite game fish is hard to mistake for any other.  With a bold black racing stripe down its lateral line and an under-slung jaw to make an orthodontist drool, the snook can grow over four feet long and enjoys spending the day relaxing in the shade of overhanging mangroves, docks, and bridges — until a smaller fish passes within striking distance.
